This is a sample of UI art game assets that I have created in the various projects that I have worked on. These works were created using a number of different techniques such as game engine assets, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
UI ART ASSETS
VECTOR ART
The Battlefield franchise use vector line art in many places for their icons. Battlefield 4 Class specialization icons are special abilities that the player receives during gameplay. Each icon shows a different ability. Battlefield V used vector art to show vehicles and weapons. These were created by setting up the 3D in-game assets and then rendering them out so that the icons were very accurate to the objects that the icons were representing.
DOG TAGS
Dog tags are an important part of the Battlefield franchise. These dog tags were created by digitally drawing images and then using Photoshop layer effects. Many different drawings and themes were created for use in the Battlefield games.
EXPERIENCE LOGO
Experience logos are unique logos for user created game modes in Battlefield 2042. The logos were created based on descriptions of the gameplay. In this series of logos, I created the game mode logos that overlay onto the background image. There were several iterations before the final logo was chosen.
BATTLEFIELD - WEAPONS ICONS
Battlefield is known for its large number of weapons and gadgets. For Battlefield Portal we've updated and included a large number of weapons and gadgets from the classic Battlefield games Battlefield 3, Battlefield 1942, and Bad Company 2. These icons were created from the 3d weapons and gadget game assets. They were then brought into Blender and arranged and rendered with the all of the attachments in their proper size and placements. Then they were processed in Photoshop and output in the proper format. There were hundreds of game assets that had to be properly managed and output for the weapons icons system to work. This is just a small sample of the 3d rendered icons
